It was Joke Night on The Ed Show, as The Ed dusted off a few comedic gems sure to delight. He also revealed his plan to eat 10,000 Oreo cookies in one year.
It was the LCS Hockey Radio Show's 2-year anniversary so we celebrated the mediocrity that is the show. The Ed was here talkin' some UFC and he fights "The Baby" live on the air. Jim Iovino was here as well. And we go Around Blogtalk.
The Ed broadcasted from a little league baseball game. He offered some play-by-play and took calls from his fans, talking about wrestling, the home run derby, and blowing Franklin's finger off with a firecracker.
From 710 ESPN, Skyler Tobey or as you may know him "The Sass" was here to talk about having Dave Dameshek as a sidekick, the Ultimate Warrior and his buddy being on an episode of Judge Joe Brown. The Ed stopped by as did Red Wings fan Matt Diggs. mikedell takes on part two of the Kurt Cobain murder.
The show was a NHL free agent chatfest to lead it off. We talked all the signings with Jim Iovino, Puck Daddy's Sean Leahy, Frenchy and The Ed. The Ed stuck around for nearly the entire duration of the show. Larry talks about "Sudden Death" and mikedell talks about his time at the prom and tries, but fails, to get through some Kurt Cobain conspiracy chatter...
The Ed paid tribute to his hero Michael Jackson by singing Jacko's tunes throughout the entire episode. He also talked about having a "beat off jacket" and break dancing. The Ed reveals the winners of tomorrow's games in The Ed's Baseball League and finished up the show talking some football with The Dude.
The Ed ate a tootsie pop, played some video poker, and took calls from his fans, including the great Security Guy Irv. The Ed also talked about finishing up his swimming lessons and attending a car auction with Honky White Sucker.
The Ed was here to start off the show talking about wrestling tag teams. Then Puck Daddy's Sean Leahy joined in the Penguins Stanley Cup championship talk. mikedell and Matt Diggs get into a heated discussion over the Finals. Cousin Brandon and Larry unveil Top 11 Game Shows. mikedell explains why fluoride isn't your friend. Jim Arveno too.
It was a Game 7 extravaganza. We celebrated the Penguins' Stanley Cup victory with our longtime listener and friend to the show, The Ryan. ESPN's own Penguin homer, Dave Dameshek, called in to revel in the huge win and demanded to be called "champion" for some reason. We also heard from The Ed, The Zippy and The Matthew. It was all Penguins for 80 minutes as we mock Maryann Hossa and company. Suck it Matt Diggs!
(Also, all the talk about Larry sleeping during the game was just for comedic effect. Larry was awake the whole time.)

But our old pal Dave, Dave Dameshek made a surprise appearance to give his thoughts on Game 7 and Pittsburgh sports fans. The Ed called in to finish up the show.

This show was absolutely brutal. It was like running uphill will cement shoes. We talked hockey with Frenchy. Then Matt Diggs called in. Then The Ed called in. Then Matt Diggs called back. Then The Ed called back. We finished up with Top 11 King of Queens episodes. And did I mention this show was horrible? Move along...
We started off the show talking the hockey. If you like the hockey, Mike Dell and Jim Loveno bring it. Captain Justice called in with some trivia and a story about Rafael Belliard. The highlight of the evening was Dave Dameshek and Cousin Brandon battling Larry in some Rocky IV trivia. If he dies, he dies.
The Ed calls another BlogTalk show to discuss his ongoing back trouble and ends up revealing a bit too much about his own church and Pastor Reeves. Something doesn't seem right about that Pastor Reeves. Then The Ed challenged his listeners to a sports trivia game. Dave Dameshek even called in to try and win a prize. Yeah, there was no way The Ed was going to let him win.
We were here to celebrate the big game 7 win by the Pittsburgh Penguins with The Ed and Jim Loveno. Sean Leahy from Yahoo's Puck Daddy was here as well for nearly the entire show. Captain Justice called in to sing a song about Tom Barrasso. We did some movie reviews and we finish up with Mike Dell's conspiracy segment on the federal reserve.
The Ed did push-ups live on the air and talked to a bunch of his pals, including Dick Banks and Security Guy Irv. The Ed also answered questions from the Dameshek.com message boards and tried to get a job selling insurance. He ended the show by challenging The Baby to a fight.

Cousin Brandon called in and handily defeated Larry in some "Red Dawn" trivia. The Ed finished up the show while eating McDonald's and farting into the phone.
